Space frame
AISI 4130 tubular frame modelled with SolidWorks weldments, then checked in five FEA load cases.
Case study →I design, analyse and build race-car components, from frame FEA and upright analysis to CFD and powertrain assembly. Most recently I led Praheti Racing SAE CBIT, an 85+ member team, through a full Formula Student season at SUPRA SAEINDIA 2026.
Open to graduate roles and internships in automotive and motorsport engineering.
PR26 is a KTM RC 390-powered combustion Formula Student car on an AISI 4130 space frame, built over one season for SUPRA SAEINDIA 2026 at the Buddh International Circuit. The case study covers the frame and upright FEA, the brake, aero and intake work, and how the car was assembled and documented.

Case study →Nosecone shell, about 610 × 593 × 1031 mm, modelled in SolidWorks and used for external-flow CFD.
Case study →Grey cast iron disc with a curved slot pattern, laser cut by a vendor to my drawing.
Case study →Al 6061 front knuckle with steering-arm lugs, hub and brake disc, assembled in SolidWorks.
Case study →Al 7075 rear knuckle, hub and brake disc, assembled in SolidWorks.
Case study →Restrictor venturi, plenum and runner with flanged joints, designed around the 20 mm restrictor for PETG printing.
Case study →Fuel tank with filler neck, cap and vent fittings, packaged for the PR26 frame.
Wishbone mount bracket designed for laser cutting, with the pickup bore through both walls.
Gear-driven gripper: two meshing gears open and close a split clamping ring. Modelled in SolidWorks and 3D printed.
Hooke’s joint with two yokes, a cross and keyed shafts, assembled with mates in SolidWorks.
A candlestick built from revolves and a swept handle, plus surfacing work: an extruded spline surface, a twisting loft, a revolved bowl and a swept tube.
Drawing for a steel stand: a square-tube frame, 23.62 × 22.05 × 12 in, with 3 mm corner gusset plates (150 mm sides).

During my term as captain, Praheti Racing SAE CBIT collaborated with Red Bull India to bring a Red Bull Racing Formula 1 show car to CBIT. It was displayed in Red Bull’s glass-sided show truck outside the auditorium, alongside the Red Bull MINI.

We hosted 54 students from Kendriya Vidyalaya Golconda-1 for a day of motorsport basics and road safety. I took sessions on the powertrain and the differential, and the students examined our Formula Student car and toured the SAE workshop.
I attended the official SUPRA 2026 rulebook workshop run by technical inspectors. It covered frame tubing and welds, the impact attenuator, harness geometry, cockpit safety, SES documentation and how each rule is checked at scrutineering. I brought it back into the team’s compliance checks.
Each skill links to the work where I used it.
